**SOLD** M221 Spectacular 19th century hollow-bodied Copper Rooster Weathervane featuring a bold Rooster perched in a crowing stance atop a large hollow bodied Ball. Exceptional details throughout – especially to the beak, face, feet and feathers. Hand crafted from molded copper, featuring a verdigris patina caused by long term exposure to the elements and evidence of being shot at in several areas. Mounted on a later wooden base for display purposes.
Approximate measurements: ~22” long x ~6 ½” wide x ~35” overall height. Base measures 7 ¼” x 8”.
