L537 Early 19th century one door cupboard with original painted surface, dovetailed case and beautiful, fully mortised raised panel door that retains its working lock with key. Applied molding surrounds the top and cupboard rests on applied bracket base with cut out feet. Clean, natural patina interior with sturdy shelves for storage. The wood is pine with square head nail construction. Of note - the back board is constructed of one wide board that has split almost exactly down the center because of age and the secure way it was nailed to the back.
