L478 Large, early 19th century Pennsylvania wooden bowl bearing a beautiful original blue painted surface with distinct turnings and a carved band around the foot area. Natural patina interior with evidence of slow turnings and chop marks from use. Nice hand / slow turned lathe marks visible throughout.
This sturdy bowl is slightly out of round at 20 ½” – 20 ¾” diameter. It is 6 5/8”-6 ½” tall / deep, depending on where measured.
