K1837 Spectacular Eastern Shore, Maryland Basket featuring a double banded, single wrapped rim. The steamed and bent handle is actually one solid piece of wood that encircles the center of the basket and is incorporated into the weave. Nice, tight weave, featuring two different brown colored oak splint slats. Very sturdy. Excellent condition.
Measurements: The opening is 13 ¼” long x 9” wide. Rectangular bottom is 10 ½” long x 8” wide. Sides are 6 ¼” tall. Overall height at handle is approximately 10 ¼” tall.
