K317 Late 18th century New England chest over two drawers boasting vibrant yellow painted surface. The case and drawers are dovetailed. Tall, applied bracket base is secured with early “T” nails. Original strap hinges and hardware remain intact. Molded edges surround the top and drawer fronts. Clean, natural patina interior. The wood is pine. Circa 1780-1800. Measurements: 44” wide x 18 ¼” deep x 37 ¾” tall.
