K1823 Pennsylvania paint decorated wooden foot stool retaining black painted surface with heart decoration on the top and simple red, blue and green pinstriping accents on the aprons and each of the legs and feet. The drop aprons on each side boast nicely rounded corners and pinstripe decoration. Bootjack cut out feet. The wood is pine.
Square head nail construction. Circa 1840-1850’s.
Measurements: 13” long x 5 ½” wide x 6 5/8” tall.
