K1808 Folk Art oil painting by Arthur E. Glazier (East Berlin, Pennsylvania, 1928-2015) depicting a black Lady with very detailed facial features wearing a long-sleeved work dress, apron and head scarf with two loyal cats by her feet. She is standing by a butter churn, holding a basket of eggs with ears of corn, peppers and herbs shown hanging from drying racks suspended from the ceiling. This wonderful artwork is hand painted on a reclaimed wooden typeset tray and is prominently signed “A. Glazier” at the bottom. This painting was from Mr. Glazier’s private collection.
Measurements: 16 ½” wide x 1 ¼” thick x 32 ¼” tall.
