K1737 19th century New England Bail Handle Pantry Box with the original dry indigo blue painted surface. The overlapping bentwood sides are secured with small metal tacks. The sides of the Box are fitted with a pair of oval stamped tin handle mounts. Fitted with an arched wire swing handle with wooden hand grip bearing remnants of the original indigo blue paint. Natural patina interior.
Measurements: 9 ¾” top diameter x 5 ¼” tall.
