K121 19th century half-moon shaped tin and glass Hunting / Barn lantern featuring a prominent glass panel in front with a hinged door in back that opens easily for access to the interior candle socket. The top features double hoods to protect the internal candle flame from wind/rain. A sturdy shaped tin handle with rolled edges remains intact on top for carrying / hanging purposes. An evenly spaced, pierced circular pattern that serves as a source for airflow adorns the top edge of the back rounded side of the lantern. Lantern retains its original black painted surface. (Candle not included).
Measurements: 7 5/8” wide across front glass panel x 4 ½” deep x 15 ½” tall to top of handle.
