J93 18th Century Pennsylvania original red painted wall box featuring a canted lid and tall, angled cut out back. Large “T” nail and rose head nail construction. The sturdy lid is held in place with “hinges” that are configured of two thick pieces of leather applied with multiple rose head nails. Lid opens to reveal a divided interior retaining natural patina. Hole in back for hanging purposes shows extensive wear from years of use. Measurements: 14” wide x 7” deep x 15” tall
