J187 Early gathering Basket with old blue painted surface. The basket boasts a double wooden banded top rim that is securely wrapped, a kicked in bottom for ventilation, and a nice, sturdy, deeply notched steamed and bent tall wooden handle. Heavy and very well made. It has a make-do repair over what appears to be a mouse hole, and a few very minor breaks, but is in very good condition overall. Approximate measurements: 7 ¼” tall sides. 11 ½” diameter opening and 8” diameter bottom. Overall height with handle is 13” tall.
