H86 Jeanne Davies water color of little Girl with flowers (1936 - ) 20th Century New Jersey/ Pennsylvania Modern Folk Artist best known for her landscapes, farm scenes, family portraits and Amish life subjects. This is an original signed painting . This truly is a charming painting of a beautiful brown hair, little girl who could not be more than three or four years old. She is dressed in a Williamsburg blue period frock, layered with a lace pinafore, bloomers and shos . She seems to be gazing off in the distance, while holding on tight flowers. The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner--please see photos. Measurements: 11 3/4" wide x 15" tall
