HERRMANN.", BALTIMORE, MARYLAND DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "3" gallon capacity mark, semi-ovoid form with squared rim, beaded neck ring, incised shoulder ring, and arched handles. Brushed cobalt floral decoration to each side, additional cobalt at handle terminals. The pottery of Peter Herrmann (1825-1901), Baltimore, MD. Circa 1875.
